Finally, I am able to show one of my favourite 2023 projects. Although building a website for an agency can be difficult, collaborating with the creative and overwhelmingly delightful folks at Finally made the process a breeze. It's good to see that agencies continue to uphold the motto "niet lullen, maar poetsen" (no chatting, just getting things done) that Rotterdam is known for.

"The most interesting and effective ideas arise from genuine curiosity," the people at Finally excitedly explained in our first meeting. "Together with our clients, we seek amazement and wonder. That's why we work with the What if principle." We have also brought this way of thinking to the online world. We thought, why don't we go to the right instead of down? This scrolling and swiping method gives the user the feeling of flipping through a magazine.
Wonder and astonishment. Two words that appeared multiple times in the initial encounter with Finally - 'it's beautiful when suddenly you see something you didn't see before,' they called it. That's why we chose to incorporate surprising hover interactions and animations throughout the entire website. To live up to the name 'Finally,' almost every transition has a slight delay.
We picked a vibrant and energetic palette of colours, considering yellow can be rather overwhelming if used poorly. Whenever a user hovers over a case thumbnail, the main colour of that particular case will take over the entire page. Furthermore, the website uses the case's colour scheme on the actual case page. In that manner, we kept it fresh on every interaction and ensured that Finally's neutral brand colour, yellow, would always be easily recognised.
